Squad mate Lee Murphy stole the honours in the first classic qualifier at Larford Lakes with a paste caught weight of 109lb off the specimen pool. Along with Lee another Preston based angler Neil Cottam took the final qualifying spot the day after with another ton plus weight of 106lb!
