For the final match we were greeted with conditions that were the worst we had all seen for years! Snow, sleet, rain, blizzards we had it all, nevertheless we still had a job to do! Taking nothing away from the original creator and founder of the method Andy THE FIN Finley is quite simply the man. For those who don’t know the method its quite simple and easy to use. The pellet cones are the ultimate way to present a small and compact nugget of pellets right next to your chosen hook bait. Using soften 1mm to 3mm pellets is best. As a rule for soaking pellets, leave 1mm pellets underwater of 1 minute, 3mm pellets for 3 minute ect . From what I have found with this method it works best in open water rather than fishing tight up to a feature as its difficult to chuck tight due to the long hook length.
