With the successful development of Nash Zig Bugs, the next obvious move was to develop an attractor system that would further high-light the presence of the Zig Bugs in the water column. After intensive field testing, Nash have introduced their Bug Juice which is a range of four spray on attractor juices specifically designed to be used on Zig Bugs.
The whole ethos behind the juices is to help the carp locate the bug more easily. This has been achieved by utilising some of the most potent fish attractors around. A crucial aspect of this attraction is that the properties of the Bug Juice are effective in all weather conditions, be it spring or summer temperatures the water solubility of the juices mean they are easily located by the carp in the water column.
The incredible make up of these Bug Juices means there is something for every angler, and it seems that at times, just like other baits one juice might just have its day over the others. They also act as a tell tale if there is a bit of chop on the water and you experience a single bleep then look out to where your Zig Bug is. If the surface flattens, that is because a carp has missed your Zig Bug, but released some of the Bug Juice into the water column. So adjust your rig depth and catch it!
The range includes:
- Beetle: A potent mixture of fishy blends.
- Nectar: A long-lasting sweet juice with fruity notes, an absolute blinder in colder weather.
- Shrimp: A totally stabilised natural fish extract with free amino acids, driving the fish potty.
- Tadpole: A spring turn on when fish might be harvesting frog spawn or the tadpoles.
The Bug Juices come in a handy 30ml atomiser bottle, which dispenses just the right amount of juice over the Zig Bug prior to casting out. Of course they are also brilliant for over spraying your hook bait when floater fishing! You can also pop a Bug or two in the bottle to soak whilst waiting for a take on the Zigging gear.
