Privacy & Security
We collect only enough information from you to allow us to process your order and deliver your goods. Information is not shared with or passed on to any third party.
We use industry standard encryption to send sensitive information to our payment processor Sage Pay for debit and credit card payments. Payments made via Paypal are processed on Paypal's secure site.
We are fully PCI compliant.
Delivery
We charge you for delivery what it costs us. Delivery charges are shown in the Shopping Cart and depend on the weight and bulk of the goods you order. As a rough guide, these are the amounts you could be charged, based on the size of a common item of tackle.
- Very small item (e.g. packet of hooks) - £1
- Small item (e.g. spool of line) - £2.50
- Medium item (e.g. reel) - £6.60
- Large item (e.g. rod, pole or seatbox) - £7.70
However, we will generally be able to send more than one of the example items and stay within that price band.
Lost Parcels
If you do not receive your delivery in the expected time frame please let us know as soon as possible. Parcels are usually delivered within 10 days and if they are not received within 15 days we will send the goods again. It is important that you inform us as soon as you can so we can track the delivery and try to find it quickly.
Availability of Goods
The availability of each product is displayed at the bottom of the product page, above the 'add to cart' button. When there is more than one item offered for sale on a single page (for example, different size hooks, different length rods or clothing sizes), we work out availability based on fifty percent of the items in the list. If we show "Next day delivery" here, at least half of the products shown are available in this time frame. This doesn't always mean that the product is in stock at our Preston store. Sometimes we may have your order despatched from an alternate location.

If we are aware of a problem with the availability of any item, we will show you a red message underneath that item after you have added it to your cart. If after you have placed an order, any more information becomes available we will let you know by email automatically.
We calculate our delivery times based on our weekday opening times. A "Next day delivery" item ordered on Monday morning should arrive at your delivery address on Tuesday.
